SAVANNAH – Daniel Aubrey Bush, 26, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at Hospice House.
The native and lifelong resident of Savannah was a graduate of Calvary Day School and attended Georgia Southern University. A major sports fan and outdoorsman, Daniel enjoyed playing golf, football, and baseball, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Surviving are his mother, Serrelle Richardson of Savannah; his father, David L. Bush of Midway; his maternal grandmother, Veleta Wood of Savannah; his paternal grandmother, Margie Eberhardt of Hinesville; his step-father, Charles "Dicky" Richardson of Savannah; a step-sister, Mandy Richardson of Washington; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many, many close friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16, 2009, at The First Baptist Church of the Islands with Rev. Brooks Cail officiating.
Interment will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
The family suggests that remembrances be made to the Beyond Measure Building Fund at The First Baptist Church of the Islands, 6613 Johnny Mercer Blvd, Savannah, GA 31410 or Hospice Savannah, Inc., P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
Wow Daniel, we haven't talked in years but I wish we did. You were always my friend and always will be. Sorry to see you go so suddenly bro. You will always have a place in many peoples hearts. You and your family are in my prayers.
